Olarenwaju came on to grab a late equaliser for Umraniyespor against Henry Onyekuru and Babajide David's Adana Demirspor.
Senegal's Badou Ndiaye fired Adana Demirspor ahead with only 11 minutes to go. The visitors were coasting to victory before Olarenwaju Kayode came on and snatched a point late on for the hosts.
Umraniyespor hosted Adana at the Umraniye Belediyesi Sehir Stadi in an attempt to claw themselves out of the bottom of the table. The high-flying Adana were about to condemn the hosts to their 14th loss of the season, but for Kayode's heroics.
The late Kayode strike prevented Adana from breaking into the top three, while Umraniyespor remain nailed to the bottom of the table
How it happened
The home side started with verve and troubled their superior visitors in the early exchanges, but Adana played their way back into the game. Both sides had decent scoring chances and spells in the game, but the first-half remained barren.
The second-half was all about Adana, who kept the hosts camped in their half for most of the game and were rewarded in the 79th minute on a Badou Ndiaye strike.

Look at Michael Jackson in this photograph. What is written on his shirt? Olodum. Please fact-check me: This picture was shot while filming the Michael Jackson short film, They Don't Care About Us, in Salvador, the capital of Bahia, Brazil.
About 80% of Bahia's population claims African ancestry, with more than 60% of them self-identifying as Lukumi Yoruba.
In Bahia, God is often referred to as Olodum, which is a short form of the Lukumi Yoruba word, Olodumare. Go ahead and fact-check me.
While spending time in Salvador's favelas (a favela is a slum, shanty town, or ghetto), Michael Jackson sought out some Ifa adherents who use drums for their worship and music. He had heard about them before he went to Brazil.
They have a headquarters in Salvador, known as 'Casa do Olodum', or House of Olodumare, in the Pelourinho district of Salvador. The collective also has a school, Escola Olodum, which is Portuguese for Olodum school.
The venue where Olodum performs is called Ilê Aiyê, which in Lukumi Yoruba literally means house of life. They did not even bother trying to make the name sound Portuguese. Ilê Aiyê is straight out of Ilê Ifê.
Speakers of deep and pure Lukumi would know that in Lukumi, Ilê Aiyê means Planet Earth.
