As an entrepreneur, he has pioneered butterfly farming in Peru, founding the country’s first butterfly farm in the Amazon.

Augusto holds a Master’s degree in Forest and Nature Conservation with a specialization in Policy and Management from Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. Additionally, he has earned a professional degree in Forestry and an undergraduate degree in Forestry Science from the National Agrarian University of Peru. Professional surfer Sofia Mulanovich grew up in Punta Hermosa, a small town outside of Lima, where she rode a body board at 5 and graduated to a short board by age 9.
